Alaskan Chinook/King Salmon

On the Kenai Peninsula flows the most famous Salmon sport fishing river in the world. The Kenai river is home to the world record King Salmon weighing in at 97 pounds, 4 ounces. We begin fishing in June and end around the first of August. Large specimens may be taken throughout the entire season although the peak month is July.

Silver Salmon

Silver Salmon enter the river around the first week of August and stick around until late fall. Silver fishing is highly productive and great for all ages. On even number years the pink salmon enter the river at the same time as the silvers creating a non-stop action.
